Okay, this just isn’t true. In the “olden days” women didn’t have the equality to wear what they wanted to. Straight men were just as attracted to a scantily clad woman in the “olden days” as they are now, and they were even less shy about “putting women in their place” (because they felt it was their right). When women’s rights was ushered in, the right to wear what they wanted was as well. Think twice before you wish for the “olden days”.
(Not to mention, if you think to get a boy’s attention you have to get naked, you are choosing the wrong boys. Don’t give patriarchy the power.)
